​Mali is a Registered Liquidator, Chartered Accountant and Director at Australia Business Rescue Pty Ltd. She has a professional career in Business Restructuring and Corporate Insolvency of more than 15 years across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

Mali prides herself on her diligence, technical flare and commercial pragmatism, which she believes have been the key attributes to achieving the objectives sought on her appointments and ensures valuable service to her Clients and Creditors on external administrations. ​

Mali provides services to Clients at two levels:

  1. As a Business Rescue Specialist assisting small to medium sized businesses restructure their affairs through Statutory processes to prevent the closure of business, including Safe Harbour advisory and appointments as Voluntary Administrator and Deed Administrator of Companies; and

  2. As a Registered Liquidator, Mali also is appointed External Administrator to companies either by their Directors and Shareholders requiring a Voluntary Liquidation of their company, or by Creditors on application to the Court for the appointment of a Liquidator.

Voluntary Administrations involving simple and complex trade-ons leading to viable Deeds of Company Arrangement in a diverse range of industries, enabling the Continuity of Business and repayment to Creditors, without the pressure of crippling debt;

  • Selling businesses as going concerns under various regimes including Voluntary Administrations, Liquidations and Receiverships, across a diverse range of industries, enabling the continuation of an otherwise viable business or business model;

  • Voidable Transaction Reviews and Advice for Directors or Creditors being pursued by a Liquidator;

  • Remuneration Reviews and Recommendation on behalf of a Creditor/s of the remuneration drawn by Administrators or Liquidators.

  • Investigative Accountant  reviews, Solvency/Insolvency reviews and Recommendations to Lenders, the Court, or other key Stakeholders.​

Insolvency Specialist

Anna is a Chartered Accountant and comes from a management accounting background with over 10 years in Business Restructuring and Corporate Insolvency. 

With an undergraduate degree in marketing and management and a post graduate masters degree in accounting, Anna has experience managing both legal services and wholesaling operations.  She specialises in business advisory and understands the commercial realities and peculiarities of running a small business. 

Anna has also handled the external administrations of companies operating across numerous industries including construction, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, printing, transport, labour hire, professional services and even a cinema.  

 

She has also prepared specialist investigative accounting and insolvency reports, some of which have been used in court proceedings.

 

Anna prides herself on her commercial pragmatism and integrity, in an industry often considered to have neither.

Corporate Insolvency Accountant

Vincent is a Corporate Insolvency Accountant within the firm, looking after the day to day matters on external administrations.

 

Vincent holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the Australian Catholic University.

Since 2017, Vincent has assisted Creditors and Employees on insolvent administrations, guiding these key stakeholders from the commencement of a Voluntary Administration, Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) or Liquidation, through to the end.

 

He has extensive work experience in taxation and financial accounting and contributes those skills to his extended role as an investigative accountant for the firm.

Vincent brings a dynamic, diligent and personable approach to his work, and is a valued staff member at Australia Business Rescue.
